Patrick Bernard Memorial Race

With promises of rain by mid evening we attempted to start early but nonworking loudspeakers hindered the bracket racing from running at a quick pace.  Qualifying was reduced to a single round to get the racing underway but right after the first round of eliminations the rain came.

The number one qualifier in Street Race was an off pace Fast Eddie Plybon who with an ailing torque converter managed a 5.77 at 120mph and also ran the quickest pass of the race with a 5.75.  Terry Harris had the quickest reaction time with a .071

KidRocket D.J. Thompson posted the fastest ET and qualified #1 in True Street with a 6.44 at 109mph. D.J. also had the best reaction time in True Street at a .174 .

Thanks to all the racers who showed up even though rain was in the forecast.  The next race is at Motor Mile, May 24th.  It should be a great turnout and a great show.

Stay tuned the race videos are coming soon.
